Lane End Farm, Cocklake

The land at Lane End Farm has been farmed by the Hector family for over 80 years. Using our own fields and additional land rented from other farms in the area we rear cattle, sheep, pigs, geese and turkeys. Currently we have around 100 milking friesian cows, 50 traditional british breed beef cattle and a very busy Red Devon Bull called Paddy. We also have around 120 texel x sheep, a number of tamworth pigs and around 1100 white and bronze barn reared turkeys being fattened up for Christmas. All animals are free range and enjoy the wide open spaces available to them. Alan, NIck and James all work on the farm.
